The Baker Brothers have been cultivating their funk in the rolling hills of Dorset, England since they were kids. With their explosive country funk sounds, projecting musical fertiliser all over their audiences for the past 10 years, they have nurtured a growing, loyal fan base that rapidly continues to grow across the globe. The band were signed to Japanese record label Soultage Records in 2005, where they have gone on to sell more than 50,000 units in Japan alone.

Having toured all over Japan and the UK, The Baker Brothers, for the first time are endeavouring to reach neighbouring shores and beyond! After a busy summer recording they have just finished their 3rd studio album. With a total of 6 full-length recordings under their belts, these guys have the experience and technical knowledge to deliver you safely through a cosmic, funk frenzy!

Over the summer months they have been billed with and shared stages with the likes of Sly and the Family Stone, Mr Scruff, The New Mastersounds and Jules Holland. The Baker Brothers are now ready to perform for you their new album ‘Transition Transmission’. It features guests on Vocals such as Hamish Stewart from the Average White Band and Vanessa Freeman from Reel People. They also recorded with UK Latin percussion legend, Snowboy!

The core of The Baker Brothers is made up of 6 strong men of funk. When Vanessa Freeman is in town the vocals carry you to another dimension.
